Please don’t read that ?

We are off to a great start ???

Esmeralda

Sorry, not sorry. I didn’t mind the red queen that much, but it lacked some more action that in the end never happened in the rest of the series. I do enjoy similar series like ACOTAR and the lunar chronicles. Just not the red queen, to me it’s not the same quality

Its more one of those reads that everyone seems to have read but didn’t really jump out to me based on the summary. I was debating between putting this, Three Dark Crowns, or TMI

What about lunar chronicles? I fell in love ?

0
Mindy

I’ve already read them twice

0
Esmeralda

Ah good! ? I haven’t read three dark crowns and TMI yet, so I can’t recommend that just yet

Do an FVP. You will be challenged to write what the readers want and you’ll have readers you don’t want to feel upset about no story.

1
Casia

Plus, I want to have others doing an FVP with me. lol

Mindy

I need this too!!! ??

@Mindy, do a FVP (fiction via poll). At the end of every chapter, your readers vote what happens next. You have to write it. It challenges you and forces you to write because if you don’t, your readers will be bummed out.

Mindy

That sounds really cool

Destinee

I think I will do one!

1
Casia

@Destinee You need to be sure to write your chapters fast though. Can’t take too long writing. I say 2 days or 3 max. Any more and I’ll get pushy. 😉

1
Mindy

I might try it later this year once this semester is over

1
Casia

School is definitely important. Good idea.

1
Destinee

@Casia oh gosh I’m nervous now. I’ll have to think of a good story idea for chapter one before I start the event

0
Casia

lol No you don’t. Just think of a main character and an event. List the possible settings or possible events and just have us vote. I literally only had a character and a basic event (J’s disappearance). Everything else was you guys.

Do NaNoWriMo! It’s a online challenge to write a novel in a month, and a ton of people participate. A bunch of authors actually wrote their first novels during NaNoWriMo. (Marissa Meyer and Erin Morganstern come to mind, but there are more.) http://nanowrimo.org/

@Casia that is a great idea!

Casia

Thanks, @Meegy! It’s a ton of fun. I’ve definitely decided to keep my FVP going too via my street team. lol I really like the challenge of doing what others want.

I just requested to join. 🙂 I will also find you on watt pad as well.

This may be a silly question, but what is Convince me?

Convince Me is a little game @Hannah thought up where a person is asking for everyone else to convince them to read a certain book. A thread will pop up on Tuesday (today) and you have to comment on it if you want to convince the person. Wednesday or Thursday is when they announce their decision.

If anyone can convince me to read acotar without foaming at the mouth about rhysand or whatever, enforcing any of the romance in the book or using fae as a selling point (its not a selling point to me) then you deserve to be knighted.

I can’t do this without spoiling the whole book for you.

Convince me to read The All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness (I need to buy them as well, so you have to be very convincing!)
