Does anyone use LibraryThing to catalog books or is Goodreads the better option?

I use it, but don’t know about its effectiveness. Can’t hurt, I suppose. Also use goodreads.

I have a file with each page I have marked with A-Z When I have read a book I delete it with a green Marking pen so I can still read what’s under it.
