Just read sundays at tiffanys but James seemed a little thin on the ground in it’s writing. I think his cowriter was the main driving force in this one.
Yes, the women’s murder club books are good and the early Alex Cross ( I’ve not read the later ones yet). Some of the stand alone books are a ‘light’read.
Once in a while.
Love him.
Yes. Alex Cross series and women’s murder club. ?
I believe I’ve heard that there are ghost writers who write books in his series.
It’s true.
I think most of the books where he has a co-author are written by the co-author and not by him.
As a reader, it always discourages me away from authors who are known to do this.
Yes, all of his series. I just started his “Private” series. His earliest books were written without co-writers.

No. He uses ghostwriters. If you didn’t write the book but claim ownership, I won’t read your ‘work’ at all.
Really????? How disappointing to hear this
His earliest books (and there are many) he wrote alone without a co-author.
@Charles glad to hear that!
@Charles “Many of Patterson’s best sellers are co-authored by another writer. The only exceptions are Patterson’s Alex Cross novels, which are all his work.” https://www.mysteryscenemag.com/blog-article/3456-20-years-of-alex-cross-james-patterson

Just finished First Love, which was coauthored by Emily Raymond. If you’ve lost someone to cancer, its a tough end, but an enjoyable story.
