I was thinking of joining this but the reviews are shocking. What’s your experience been like?

It’s been wonderful to me. I have never had any issues since I started around September 2017. ☺️☺️

I have library cards for 5 different library systems near me (surprisingly, some libraries allow you electronic access even if you don’t live super close). I can use Overdrive with most of them to borrow audiobooks for free.

Not a lot of people know this but you can use them even if you’re out of state because it’s no risk to the library because digital items return automatically 🙂

Ooh, interesting

AND even if your card is expired. Source: disabled person using Indiana library card in Ohio that needs renewing last April

Hmmm? Interesting!
I am in a teeny town with no library. I used to have a card with a library in Florida & they had to drop me since I was out of state.

Theme card probably still would’ve worked on overdrive or hoopla

Hoopla is a good option, but only if your library offers it, and how many checkouts vary, thru mine is 12. Also try RB Digital.
