@Tessa, well, if it’s 5000, I’m in good shape. I keep waiting for it to tell me it’s full. I need to learn how to delete some of the ones I have finished.
@Tessa, I have tried that, but the only thing it will do is remove the picture from my page. The librarian said she thought I would have to take them off from wherever I downloaded them. I’ll find out from a bigger library where they have a Kindle guru. Thanks for trying, Tessa.
They’ll hold more than you need but after a certain point it gets frustrating to scroll through so many. Most are less than a megabyte but let’s say an average of 1 megabyte each, and 1,000 for each gigabyte.
5,000 easily.?
Really depends on how many GB you have.

Good one!
I just bought a new Kindle Fire 8 the other day. I chose the 16GB instead of the 32GB because it has a slot for a microSD card.

You can remove a title from the kindle itself. Or you can delete from your kindle library. https://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/how-to-remove-books-from-a-kindle/
Thank you so for the information. I will give it a try!
