Well the journal asks you to enter alphabetically. When I read a book I just open the journal at the first alphabet of the title and start writing. I also print mini book covers and paste them.
Yes I do. I have a list of the books I have autographed by the author, books I’m watching/waiting for, books I’ve ordered, book quotes & sayings, book events I’m attending (by month), books I want to read on the treadmill, and the books we’ve read for book club. I use Goodreads to track my TBR and read books. I live my book journal!
I used to keep a paper journal, now I keep track on Library Thing. Very helpful as I am a librarian and people ask me for book recommendations. Plus, it’s fun to look back on what I’ve read!
Have been since the 80s, first on paper and now on line — it’s so much eadier to search that way. I have a page for each author, write the name and date published for each book, and the date I finished it. Then a few paragraphs to help me remember it. If I am stuck for something to read, I browse through it to remind myself of authors I have liked in the past. And it is a good way to prevent buying books I have already read.
I use Library Thing plus FictFact for the series I read. The later includes lists of series so I see what comes next. It also alerts me when a new book in a series is released.
