I loved it while I had it! I unsubscribed when I started having less time to read?? I will eventually resubscribe! I read books I never would have thanks to KU
I like to read what I like to read. I felt very limited by their offerings. IF I’ve seen reviews and info about certain books, I want to read it now. Kindle unlimited was actually very limiting for me – and if there’s a book on my mind, I don’t want to wait til it “Might” show up on unlimited. But if all the books I wanted to read were included, then I’d save a ton of money. sigh.
I just cancelled mine. I just wasn’t using it. I won a bunch of books on Goodreads and I’ve always got the library. It’s just one less expense right now.
No because I get alot of my Kindle reads free from Amazon. Just go on Amazon & put in “free books” it will show you all the ones from all genres that are free to download.
I think it’s absolutely with it. I like contemporary romance and there are tons of them available on KU. There’s also some books by my favorite more mainstream authors like Alison Winn Scotch, Barbara Claypole White, Catherine Ryan Hyde just to name a few.
I tried it, but I’m picky what I enjoy reading and it didn’t have enough (I like literary fiction best). If I liked fantasy or romance I probably would have liked it.
I am in the same boat! I have ten on there that need to be read – among the other books that need to be read.. sigh.. and a list waiting for unlimited spots to open for me 🙂
I have used Unlimited for years and saved a fortune. I read a lot as well as use Prime and Goodreads. Use prime and goodreads for newer books by certain authors and Unlimited for the rest. I read many genres so there is no limit to my choices.
I have for several years. I read a lot so it pays for itself. Plus, I read all the Harry Potter books to my kiddos–also on KU. Between KU and the library, I’m rarely at a loss for something to read.
BookBub is another great website to try out. it’s free and you can set parameters for genre of books and price limit and then you get daily emails letting you know about book deals. I set mine for nothing over $1.99. Surprisingly, there are tons of ebooks that go on sale for $0.99 or even free.
I use prime primarily because I get free shipping with a lot of things and free movies on my roku. There is a monthly free book for Kindle too and lots of other benefits. For me the free shipping makes the yearly cost worth it…if you only did it for free books, you still will be able to download 12 free in a year. You can also borrow
I don’t. I just laugh when they say you can read for free! What’s the $10 for if it is free? I look everyday for good deals on books that I want to read.
I search daily for free books, i dont pay for kindle unlimited, but that is because of financial issues, there are a lot of books available with unlimited that i would love to read
Only if you use it. Only can load 10 books at a time
I use it all the time and love it!
I read alot and so I feel it’s worth it plus you get free 2 day shipping
I think you get the discount shipping if you join Amazon Prime not Kindle Unlimited. I have both and love them!
i do , I think its worth it if read at least two books considering a new book can cost from 6 to 14 if not more 🙂
I have Amazon Prime and they include books. I use it for buying stuff, television and books. I definitely get my money’s worth every month
I have Prime as well, I’ll have to check and see what they have to offer.
I tried it but felt it wasteful when I could get the same ebooks from my library. And I do love Amazon.
That’s kind of how I feel.
Love it
If you read a lot its worth it
I don’t…. Considering it
Try it
Just might!!
If you have Prime then at the beginning of each month you can select a book b4 it’s published
I do have Prime.
@Eileen then you are set the “new releases” are under Amazon first n you should get an email first business day of month with the selection
@Maryann thank you!
Always happy to help a fellow reader
Oh good info..I was wondering the same but I have prime so all good. Don’t have a kindle yet but thinking of getting one……
@Mary keep your eyes open for a sale. Plus, you can also get a refurbished one if you don’t want to spend as much.
You will ❤️ it
@Mary I don’t have a Kindle either. I just use the (free) Kindle app for iPhone.
@Donna that’s what I use the free app
I have the app on my I phone which I just got in Oct but don’t use it since I have a kindle
@Mary I have a Kindle paperwhite. It is awesome !!!!
I do have the app also but want all the benefits of the kindle if i start doing ebooks lol…
@Diana that is the one I will get..
I loved it while I had it! I unsubscribed when I started having less time to read?? I will eventually resubscribe! I read books I never would have thanks to KU
Love it
I signed up for it again right before Christmas because they had a great price for 12 months. I like it.
I feel the same way as you which is why I don’t have it.
Totally worth it.
I love it
YES!!!
I did but I cancelled it. I use the library mostly.
It’s well worth it even if you only read one book on unlimited
It is to me. There are a lot of read free books.
I just added one of my books to KU! 🙂
Yes love it x
For me and my husband, it is well worth it because we both read a lot
Yes
Love it!
I think it’s absolutely with it. I like contemporary romance and there are tons of them available on KU. There’s also some books by my favorite more mainstream authors like Alison Winn Scotch, Barbara Claypole White, Catherine Ryan Hyde just to name a few.
Yes it is
Yes and yes
A necessity when traveling
I did at one time but ended up not liking it. Couldn’t hold to only ten books s month.
You read more than 10…you just have to “return” some before you borrow more.
You can have 10 at once but replace those 10 over and over as many times as you want
I have gotten amazon prime and kindle unlimited the last 5 years or so. I LOVE IT !!
I think so! I love it! You figure 2 $5.99 books and you have saved, but some of mine are more than that!!
I tried it, but I’m picky what I enjoy reading and it didn’t have enough (I like literary fiction best). If I liked fantasy or romance I probably would have liked it.
That’s why I don’t subscribe
Absolutely if you have the time to read a lot of books.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time. I would if I could get off the computer!!?
No.
Only due to budget
100% YES!!
Most of the authors in the Readers Coffeyhouse have at least some of their books on Unlimited.
I think it’s absolutely worth it. I found the library to be rather extensive.
I love it. Tons of free books and free audiobooks too!
I love it…
Totally worth it – but I need to use it more than I do.
I am in the same boat! I have ten on there that need to be read – among the other books that need to be read.. sigh.. and a list waiting for unlimited spots to open for me 🙂
I do and every time I think I am going to cancel it I find 10 more books to read. Lol
Lol. Me too! I actually canceled it once and before the month ran out, reinstated it!
I love it!
I do. I love it.
I have used Unlimited for years and saved a fortune. I read a lot as well as use Prime and Goodreads. Use prime and goodreads for newer books by certain authors and Unlimited for the rest. I read many genres so there is no limit to my choices.
Also request books from public library
I have for several years. I read a lot so it pays for itself. Plus, I read all the Harry Potter books to my kiddos–also on KU. Between KU and the library, I’m rarely at a loss for something to read.

Love it, completely worth it!
My son and daughter subscribe. I have prime but don’t feel that I need Kindle unlimited
Don’t you only get one book with prime? I have it but am having a hard time figuring out how to get the books..
I use prime primarily because I get free shipping with a lot of things and free movies on my roku. There is a monthly free book for Kindle too and lots of other benefits. Yes! Love it! (I like that it has audiobooks as well.)
Agree,Renee, you can often get books with audio included, which is a real money-saver in itself.
Love it
