Does anyone have any suggestions on Christmas love story books that they really like?

I know its early, so dont kill me! Does anyone have any suggestions on Christmas love story books that they really like? Preferably set in the country but doesn’t have to be. I’m not really into big city romance novels lol

Well it’s not a Christmas romance but it is one of the most charming Christmas stories I’ve ever read. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson. It’s a children’s book but I enjoy reading it every year and I’m 71 so I think it’s for all ages. Here is a description that I copied from the Internet: The six Herdman children are the terror of their town. When they take over the annual Christmas pageant, everyone rediscovers the true meaning of Christmas. ALA Notable Children’s Book 1971-1975. The Herdman’s are the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, steal, smoke cigars, swear, and hit little kids. So no one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant.None of the Herdmans has ever heard the Christmas story before. Their interpretation of the tale – the Wise Men are a bunch of dirty spies and Herod needs a good beating — has a lot of people up in arms. But it will make this year’s pageant the most unusual anyone has seen and, just possibly, the best one ever.

This book is from 2001. It’s called Love Stories of World War II, all true stories and compiled by Larry King. Yes, that Larry King.

Susan Mallory is great at this….even though they can be predictable. The stories are fun because of the author’s sense of humor. Romance, friendship, and fun.

Though not a full book, the classic short story Gift of the Magi by O’Henry has to at least be mentioned here!

Debbie Macomber has a few Christmas novels. While I’m not typically a romance book fan, I like a sweet Christmas story.
