I used to be an editor for college textbooks full time, then did it freelance for a long time. Might get back into it now that all my kids are in school.
Yes I work with the lovely @Atike for the Enfield library service. It’s an amazing job, totally not what you think though- every day is different! If anyone is local and wants to start up a book club let me know ?? ha!
Ha ok definitely the same Enfield lol. Unfortunately not at the moment, I set up a few in our libraries so I really should join one at some point ?, are you?

I use a few special ones at the Shelton Wellness Center occasionally with clients telling them about books that will benefit them. I was just recently inspired to write one too so now I guess I will be using that one too
I used to oversee a library at an international school. It was so long ago, we used to have catalog library cards to find book references, etc… *sigh* #nostalgic

I was also that way with crafts. Worked at Michael’s. Had to quit. Never even attempted working at a book store as I knew it would be futile.
