Does anyone have a book they read when they just want to feel happy? Bad day or good day, is there a book that just makes you smile?

Harry Potter. Always. I can pick up any one of the books and open it to any page and be into it. It’s like coming home after a long vacation.

@Tabatha It is always amazing. HP never fails. I hadn’t reread them in a while but recently went through the first three. I was worried they might not be as good as I remembered. They were better ?

The Devil’s Larder by Jim Crace – it’s a collection of short stories (really short, almost more like vignettes) about food. I think they’re delightful.
