Read through the pain.
@Wils of course
Yes! I have to switch hands during my reading sessions.
Another reason to read on a kindle. Just put it in a stand or lie it down. Happy reading again
Yup. Aaaand, I almost got a pressure injury from a hardcover pressed on my mouth for half the night. Lip was numb for several days. Lol. I fell asleep. Woke up in the middle of the night from discomfort.
I get pain in between my thumb and index finger
I put a pillow on my lap and prop my book on it. Makes for easier marathon reading sessions.
No usually my lower back from sitting too long….
Yes, when I read paper books. Doesn’t with ereaders
Do these keep their shape or after several uses conform to have book indents?
My left elbow if I read too long.. I have to get up and stretch my arms
I usually lie down to read.. After some time it starts to hurt, then I have to sit up. After some time it hurts so I lie down again???
@Kelly There is a plastic insert inside to keep the shape. I use it upside down sometimes with oasis.
@Kristy Oooo didn’t realize that… thanks!
All the time when I would lay down and read so I got me a pyramid book pillow, I think it helps a lot.
Yes that’s why I got a kindle paper white as light weight to hold for long periods.
Not so much wrists, but definitely thumbs and index fingers. Can only read for about 20mins with a book 🙁
@Kelly It makes it hold the V shape for the book. I also travel with mine. It’s great in the car.
Yea but I have fibromyalgia etc. It’s why I switched to reading on my kindle fire hd as I can stand it up x
Some books are hard to hold unless you crack the spine and no-one who loves books wants to do this.
I’ve bought book holders to read books with. They work if I am at work having lunch or in bed and they help keeping the book open. There’s this other item I’ve seen on amazon that you just put your thumb and it holds the book open.
Buy a little buckwheat pillow. Holds and supports books, kindle
No, but my neck gets tired sometimes.
