Dominic by William Steig. It was the first book that I ever read cover to cover in one sitting, and I read it dozens of times in my childhood until the book literally fell apart. I reread it as an adult, and I honestly wish I hadn’t because it ruined the magic of my memories.

I’ve literally read my whole life. My parents were both big readers and can’t remember a time when books weren’t a big part of my life. I remember in first grade a book about a kangaroo. Can’t remember the name, but loved it

I started reading early because I couldn’t do sports due to heart condition. So reading became my escape from procedures and hospital visits.

I am dating myself, but I remember my mother bringing me to a little local library when I was in second grade. I brought home my first Bobbsey Twins book. I was in love with it . Mom had to keep bringing me back til I read every episode. From then on I always had to go to the library. Now I can do that from my kindle. My mother read a lot,.I do, my daughter tries reading between being mommy to two active children and a great wife and my two grandchildren read alot. They actually belong to the book club at our wonderful library and always tell me about whatever they are reading. Life is good!♥
