Absolutely. I don’t bath without a book……ever! I’m 57 years old, and I have only ruined 1 book in the bath that I can remember. No big deal. It was a library book. I took it back, gave them $20 to replace the book and an extra $5 for the kitty cuz I felt kind of bad. They let me keep the water logged book. So it was a win win situation I think…?.

Lush products, book, snacks n drinks for my sunday night ritual of at least two hours in the bath, great way to end the week.

@Maxine okay, only because I’ve been wondering about this since I read your comment yesterday… what types of snacks exactly? I’ve enjoyed a glass of wine in the tub before, but have never thought about snacking. This seems like something I need to try. Like, I need to get on your level!! ?

1
Maxine

Depends on my mood, the weather etc etc. Sometimes its sliced fruit and nuts, crackers and cheese, other times (more often than not!) its chocolate, chips, biscuits, cake etc. Ive even managed to eat bacon and egg pie in the bath lolol, got it down to a fine art.

1
Crystal

Wow! That all sounds wonderful! I will definitely give it a try one of these days. Thanks!!

I loved reading in the bath. But i like to shower/bath and if there was too much steam in the room it would mess with the glue on the boards of my book and it would start to bubble ? I’ve also dropped a few bookmarks the bathtub… So I don’t do it as much as I used to now- and I’m a lot more careful when I do lol
