it was written in first person of a young male lawyer. Its almost a coming of age story and i read it when i was young so maybe that’s why i liked it so much. Its the character that I really liked.
@Chrissy I wasn’t a big fan of Camino Island. I couldn’t wait to finish it so I could start a new book. I am not one to start a book and not finish it no matter how bad it is. What didnt you like about Camino island? I haven’t read Rooster Bar yet.
I actually quit 1/3 of the way through. It just bored me. I did finish Rooster Bar but it was tough to get through. Another boring read. Thought it would have good ending but no
I’ve only read two of Grisham’s early books: The Firm and The Client… Loved them both! The only book I read by Baldacci was Absolute Power (which was a terrific read)… one of my favorite political thrillers!
Love John and his are the only books i buy new right when they come out. Read a couple of David’s books in the 90s. I just discovered james Patterson and have really enjoyed them. .

John Grisham has become too predictable and formulaic .Just my view though.
