Sometimes. Other times I’m just so happy to have more time with those characters or that world that I don’t mind.

The one I think I was most upset about was If I Stay. Naturally I had to read the second book. But I was disappointed that there was one at all. And it wasn’t all that good

Yes. It’s why I haven’t picked up the sequel to “Me Before You.” I felt like I got closure with the ending and it didn’t need a sequel. If they make it into a movie I’ll probably pick it up, but only then.

I’ve read the first page of the sequel like five times but can’t make the jump

I read them both but the sequel to me before you is a different story with some of the same characters. It was good but didnt knock me dead like me before you

That happened to me with Everland. Everything wrapped itself up at the end and then the sequel, Umberland, undid everything. So frustrating!

See I feel like there’s so much that needs to be answered about the war and the two queens and the fate of the whole world after the ending of everland

Why I won’t read the Stargirl sequel. That first book is perfect. Also, I recommend Stargirl. It’s a quick read, but a worthy one. It changed my life in highschool.

Then there are the books which don’t wrap up and have no closure and I find out there are no sequels and the author did it on purpose -_-

There’s a sequel to Stargirl?! I love that book. That’s so weird.

Mmhmm, from her perspective, apparently.

Yay! Someone else who loves Stargirl! ⭐️?

I freaking love Stargirl. I’ve read it numerous times. But I haven’t picked up the sequel because it feels…weird. Like, the story ended for me. It was a decent ending. Why does there need to be more? I’ll read it eventually though lol

If it falls into my lap and I feel the time is right I may read it. The original is so good nothing can taint it, so I have nothing to lose.

The bit about the little wagon of stones kills me.

@Beth me too ? when I first read it, I must’ve been 11 or 12, I made my own makeshift “wagon” and stones. I didn’t do it for very long lol
