Yes – I try to be very early so I can find a parking space when I collect my grandson from school – then I can wait in the car and read.

Always take it to my hairdresser as she is always running half an hour behind even with a 9.30 appointment. Also take it to the post office here as it is always crowded and you can be waiting anything up to 4.1/2 hours to get served – thank goodness you can buy stamps at tobacconists here so I only have to go at Christmas time for parcels.

Now that I am a senior I get very cheap public transport. For $2.50 I can travel all day on trains and buses. I regularly travel to Sydney by train and my ereader is with me. I can do a lot of reading in the 4 hour round trip. On very hot days I have been know to do the trip just to sit on an air conditioned train and read. Love it.

I never mind hospital appointment when I have my Kindle – was at the eye hopital for nearly 7 hours recently and was quite happy in my own little bubble.
