There was a tv series of it for a while but I didn’t have a chance to watch it.

No. each book is huge. Making it into a movie would just leave out so much. I wish they would make a show on it. But they did and it was f’ing horrible. Didn’t even try to follow the books. Needs to be done over completely.
No. I never even finished the series. Wasn’t that good.
No, only made it to book 5 before I had to put it down.
