Do you tend to read a single genre like or multiple?Do you tend to read a single genre like or multiple? Fiona #questionnaire
I read a bit of pretty much everything but my most read would be fantasy and paranormal.
I used to only read psychological thrillers, but in the last 5 yrs I’ve really mixed it up and will now give anything a go and if I don’t like it I move on to something else.
I did read mainly non fiction, biographies but I’ve decided to expand & have started reading different genres.
I read most genres except fantasy and sci-fi. When I was younger I was very much into romance but since getting older I am now more into thrillers, crime, horror, etc although I still do read the odd romance…
I read most genres.. But it’s far from equal. Lots of sci-fi & fantasy (often overlapping with YA & middle grade), and non-fiction. Some classics. Some other (non-fantasy) middle grade & children’s books. Very little contemporary realistic fiction or romance.
I usely only stick to romance but sometimes i branch out
I used to read mostly YA, now I read mostly fantasy but I also like horror and mystery/thrillers.
multiple, but I go in genre streaks. Right now it’s time travel, next week it might be horror, the week after that may be paranormal romance.
Multiple, but I like to keep it mixed up. For instance, after an intense historical novel I will do something lighter like a cozy mystery. Tend to stay away from gooey romance and large chip on the shoulder dystopian stuff.
I read a little of almost everything. I love YA fiction.
I mix it up regularly.
Anything that catches my attention. ?
Everything. Just read!
Multiple. I tend to read new releases for fiction and non-fiction. Sometimes, I’ll be reading one thing and get a craving for non-fiction.
I love almost all fiction genres and will read anything from YA to sci-fi, mystery to horror, romance to western. I have to draw the line at erotica, and I don’t do non-fiction. Other than that, I will read just about anything.
Multiple genres and non fiction.
Will not read YA or NA. I always want to slap the girl or guy within the first few chapters.Love Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense, Paranormal, women’s fiction. Rarely biographies, some Historical
Historical fiction is my favorite and my most read genre, especially when included are historical mysteries
Will try everything at least once
Multiple, but I prefer horror
I do multiple, mostly fantasy and horror, with a couple of others thrown in when the mood strikes
I mostly read romance, though mostly just a few sub-genres.
I read multiple. But I go through phases where I only read a certain genre for a while then I’m reading something else
Multiple. I will at times get stuck on one genre but overall I love reading multiple genres.
Multiple.. it’s eclectic like my taste in music.
All over the map.
I don’t read, syfi, murder or anything really suspenseful. I can’t LOL
Multiple! Though am not a big fan of romance and YA, I read them as well here and there. The only genre I don’t read is Horror well because am to scared to read them.
Multiple but prefer fantasy.
Mostly psychological thrillers I tried to get into other more light hearted books read one and then went back to my old habits ha
I like everything except romance.
I prefer books that are hard to categorize into one genre. I like a little bit of everything in my books. A little romance, but not the relationship being the main goal. A little action, but not excessive. A little mystery, but not the whole time. A little comedy. A little sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural. A little of everything in the story.
Anything that Intrigues me.
I read a lot of different types of books. My favorite is fantasy.
I’m all over the place!
All the genres. Well, almost all.
I love Mysteries and Detective fiction. I really need to branch out more. ?
I love reading multiple.
Mostly romance, mysteries and thrillers, anything that can keep me hooked throughout.
Multiple! I can’t imagine limiting myself to just one
Unfortunately I don’t have time for fiction… However I do read multiple disciplines…
I do read a variety of genre, but I gravitate to books with different story worlds.
Variety, historical fiction, graphic novels, biographies and favorite authors, Maeve Binchy, Danielle Steel and Harry Potter
I like variety.
I only read paranormal/fantasy romance everything else I just can’t get into if I’m in the mood I can read a romance on it’s own. I’ve tried different books but they just bore me
Though I read multiple genres, I tend to be geared more towards psychological thrillers.
My tastes are pretty eclectic.
I’m open to reading other genres, but I gravitate toward science fiction, fantasy, and non-fiction.
reading multiple genres adds a richness to my reading
