I used to only read psychological thrillers, but in the last 5 yrs I’ve really mixed it up and will now give anything a go and if I don’t like it I move on to something else.
I read most genres except fantasy and sci-fi. When I was younger I was very much into romance but since getting older I am now more into thrillers, crime, horror, etc although I still do read the odd romance…
I read most genres.. But it’s far from equal. Lots of sci-fi & fantasy (often overlapping with YA & middle grade), and non-fiction. Some classics. Some other (non-fantasy) middle grade & children’s books. Very little contemporary realistic fiction or romance.
Multiple, but I like to keep it mixed up. For instance, after an intense historical novel I will do something lighter like a cozy mystery. Tend to stay away from gooey romance and large chip on the shoulder dystopian stuff.
I love almost all fiction genres and will read anything from YA to sci-fi, mystery to horror, romance to western. I have to draw the line at erotica, and I don’t do non-fiction. Other than that, I will read just about anything.
Will not read YA or NA. I always want to slap the girl or guy within the first few chapters.Love Contemporary Romance, Romantic Suspense, Paranormal, women’s fiction. Rarely biographies, some Historical
Multiple! Though am not a big fan of romance and YA, I read them as well here and there. The only genre I don’t read is Horror well because am to scared to read them.
I prefer books that are hard to categorize into one genre. I like a little bit of everything in my books. A little romance, but not the relationship being the main goal. A little action, but not excessive. A little mystery, but not the whole time. A little comedy. A little sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural. A little of everything in the story.
I only read paranormal/fantasy romance everything else I just can’t get into if I’m in the mood I can read a romance on it’s own. I’ve tried different books but they just bore me
I read a bit of pretty much everything but my most read would be fantasy and paranormal.
