I like whatever flows with the story and makes it believable. I hate it when it’s 1st person, but then switches, or they know stuff they couldn’t know, or when 1st person keeps secrets from the reader (unless they allude to it).
^^^ this! I am okay with either, just be constant. Especially when there is an ongoing series and all of a sudden the author changes the next book. (Patricia Cornwall – Kay Scarpetta series)
It annoys me to know end when the point of view switches from one character to the other and they still just speak in first person so you have to remember who is speaking.

It also annoys me to no end when autocorrect makes me look stupid
I wrote 9 chapters of my new dramedy in 3rd person. Then had a revelation that I could go deeper with my main character If it was in 1st person. LOL
