I keep the list on my phone though it’s not comprehensive. There are more books on Goodreads but some of those are ones I’m not as thoroughly interested in.
I have a very long list on Goodreads of books I’m interested in but I don’t keep a physical list. When book shopping I just try to find books that look interesting and sounds familiar
I keep a list of read and to-read book on Goodreads. I also keep a spreadsheet of the book series. This way I know how may books are in the series, which of the books I have read and notes on upcoming releases for that series. Yes… I am an ultra book nerd. ?
Yes. I had some personal lists and then found a few online websites that had lists that I wanted to use. I finally did a copy-and-paste onto a word documents (it’s very long) and had it printed and spiral-bound to keep as a reference. I’ll never get through it all in one lifetime, but it’s nice to have it there when I’m in the mood for a series or want more books by a particular author; I don’t have to go look it up online each time.
Yes all the time I actually have a note book by author’s name…but this does not include books I own only ones I do not own…I actually add to it from posting on this sight…As a little girl I once said I wanted to read every book in the library – not a very realistic goal….One can dream….
@Jenn It’s chronic, isn’t it? Must admit though – sometimes when I am too tired to read I trawl through Amazon looking for books to add to my tbr list! ‘People who bought ……..also bought ………’ is the start of many a rewarding hunt for books I might miss???
I keep a list on a flash drive. By author. If my library has it is highlighted on a certain color. When I finish it I input the date & highlight in another color.
Thanks everyone for commenting on my post I was wanting to start keeping track of all the books that I have read and didn’t know how to start. You all gave me some great ideas!
Oh yes. I have a list on Goodreads, but actually, I have a list on Amazon too. I have a list for Kindle Unlimited books and a list of books that require purchase. ?
Goodreads makes it so much easier, I didn’t start making a written list till 14 years ago, I was trying to controll my book buying, if I finished reading so many books then I was allowed to buy some….I kinda failed that one.
Yes. I make a list of what I’m readingh at the moment and one with all those I want to read when I’ve finished one. Except sometimes I’m too much in a hurry and I readthem at the same time. I usually have 4 to 8 books at a time.
I have a folder of every book I’ve read/bought. And because I like to write anything, I’ll just start over because I can! ? My other half just moans when I do that though because I used to buy new books everytime to re-start my lists ?
yes…I have an online list at Amazon, another on Goodreads and one more in Excel of all the books I’ve already purchased and not read yet…Let’s just say I have a looooong reading list…
I use Goodreads. I also will get samples on my Kindle. What I really need to do is stop finding new things so I can focus on all the ones I need to read that are purchased or borrowed from KU. Of course, I don’t see that happening…LOL!
Just the one i want to read
I have a pinterest board for Books to Read as well as Books I’ve Read.
I use Goodreads for that. My “to-read” shelf has….nearly 700 books on it (all that I personally own)
i have a mental list.
Yeah…always. On good read and every time I look at my bookshelf I’m like…”First I’ll read you…then you then you and then maybe I’ll read you” ????????
I sound like a cannibal ???
I need to, and I need to make it a real plan and carry it out.
Use Pinterest.
I track books on Goodreads.

I might right down a book i want to read. But i usually just go into the store and find something.
Yes. I had some personal lists and then found a few online websites that had lists that I wanted to use. On Goodreads I do. Then when I’m at a bookstore I can ask about them.
My library has some kind of a wish list feature on its webpage that I need to learn more about.
i have a mental note. except sometimes i will stand in front of my bookcase and read whichever one jumps out at me
I have my wishlist saved on Barnes and Noble app. Gathered from many places

My Goodreads list is very long. I may never read all these books!
One list, are you kidding? I usually make for lists! 🙂
Yes, I write down books I hear about to look up later. I consider my TBR to only be books I already own, not books on this list.
Totally! But I also love finding books that aren’t on my list and usually end up reading those first 😉
Yes all the time I actually have a note book by author’s name…but this does not include books I own only ones I do not own…I actually add to it from posting on this sight…As a little girl I once said I wanted to read every book in the library – not a very realistic goal….One can dream….
