Sandcastle empire wasn’t bad it just for some reason made NY brain tired. Lots & lots of description, constant twists. SE took me almost a week. I read most of NWR in one sitting.

I enjoyed it a lot more as well. The Sandcastle Empire was great for the first 100 pages but then it got incredibly confusing and I didn’t understand what the heck was going on by the end. With New World Rising, I was hooked the entire time and never once felt confused.
