Do you like books be told in first-person or third-person? I find books told by multiple characters in first-person confusing.

I don’t mind either, as long as its well written. I also love multiple perspectives, if well done – though I agree in that case 3rd person is better and less confusing

All different types are fun for me to read. Whether it’s first, second, or third person…

I feel like it depends.
I love books written in ways that feel natural. I hate when multiple first person narration is hard to figure out, but sometimes it’s done really well so I can’t say I don’t like it.
Sometimes third person feels disconnected, other times I’m amazingly intrigued and it doesn’t even feel like it’s in 3rd person.

I think authors sometimes get it wrong and it shows.

I don’t really have a preference as long as they stick with one! I just don’t like books where one chapter is first person than the next is third person.

I’m fine either way, but I agree that first-person from more than one character can get confusing.

I really hated that the last book in the Divergent series added a secondary first-person perspective when the others just had one person.

My next book is going to be first-person from one character and third-person from everyone else. Should be interesting to write.

I’m fine with either, but I love third person more.
