I am in a reading rut, I love all genres except super scary. Do you have any recommendations for a book that you couldn’t put down?

Read both of those back to back and be prepared to walk around in a stupor for a week afterward because….Why would parents treat their kids that way??? And why would the grown children go back for more??? I am still reeling.

The orphan train, anything Colleen Hoover, Room and the Glass Castle Series. I also loved The old VC Andrews series books.

The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn. Had me lmao and couldnt stop reading it.
I just started laughing out loud reading the description on Amazon. Now I will have to read the book. Always need a book that makes me laugh. Thanks for the tip!
“The Great Alone” gripped by the second chapter. “Summer Wives” was an enjoyable summer read – I read it in less than 2 days. “Before We Were Yours” was also a fantastic read.

When I’m in a reading slump it helps to reread a favorite book. It usually gets me going again!
Definitely The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah if you haven’t read it. Also, I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh and The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware.
