Where possible I read an entire series back to back but it’s not always possible so sometimes I have to jump around
My attention span is too short to read a whole series at once. I generally read one book in the series and then another book in another series. I’d love to be able to read a whole series in one go, but it’s just not possible for me.

I jump because I can’t read a whole series at once…I get book bored easily!
I read a whole series because I don’t like forgetting details.
I usually read a series back to back. I always have 2 books or series on the go anyway (audio book and ebook usually) so I never get bored.

Try and wait till the whole series is out before starting that way I don’t have to do any re reads

I preferred jumping between series until I finished the Mistborn trilogy. Now I want to read the rest of Sanderson’s Cosmere books consecutively ?
Full series if possible. Currently on Land of Arlenm but there are only 2 out of 7 released right now. 3rd comes out next month. I’m so excited!
I read The Mortal Instruments books 4, 5, and 6 out of order, but all at the same time with The Infernal Devices books. I haven’t read two different authored series at the same time. I’m currently reading the Harry Potter series in order, one after another.

I try to read books in a row – I always worry about getting in a muddle otherwise (not that this has ever happened).
