As long as the story grips me, I don’t mind. In the last three months I’ve read IT (1,100+ pages) and a couple of 200 page novellas so it’s more about quality for me
If it’s thick, it better be good. It took me just over two weeks to read The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. That’s a commitment for me, so I need to be entertained
It doesn’t really matter if I am enjoying the book. I’d rather not tackle something over 400 pages because there are too many books to read and not enough time?
Shorter books are better for me now, but only because the huge things I used to read are now too heavy for my poor wee wrists. Bless my Kindle’s little electronic soul for allowing me to read more easily.
If it’s well written the length isn’t an issue for me. I’ve read some where I felt the author must have been paid per word. Lol. Redundant, too wordy, overly descriptive settings (I mean, really, do we need a page to describe the wallpaper in the house?! I forgot which book it was but it was one of those “____inherited a house from a dead relative” books that I generally avoid anyway. I remember friends recommended it but I couldn’t slog through it.
Shorter books are read at night. Longer books tend to be audible so I can listen to them on the drive to/from work. If I try to read longer books at night I have to finish them. I’ve lost too much sleep over “one more chapter then I’ll put it down”
As long as the plot is interesting and well written, the length doesn’t bother me. I’m just about to start Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King and Owen King which is just over 700 pages…
it really depends. The Alchemist by Coelho is about 170 pages, but packs a kick. The Stand by Stephen King is 1100+…For me the only thing that matters is content, not numbers…another reason why I don’t count how many books I read
I like one that uses as many pages as necessary to tell the story.
Length makes no difference if the story is good.
yes
Quality writing, regardless of size.
I love thick epic sagas with lots of pages?
Yes
‘Booknerds’ lol–warms my heart. Love a long one when I love the people. Short is good when I’m not going to miss them.

Makes no difference, if it’s well written and keeps my attention, than all is good.
Both

There was a time where I just wanted to read the biggest, fattest books I could find. Now I just want to read anything & everything.
MANY
If it’s well-written and good, i will find it too short…? Even if it has sooooo many pages. To be honest, i don’t care if the books is good…

Many!

Yes
Many usually but don’t mind if it is interesting
I want to stay away from books less than 200 pages.
Either one as long as it is good
Exactly!
Long books!
Irrelevant to me.
Depends if audio book or physical or ebook
Good stories…short or long.
All depends on content!!
I personally like short ones. Big books intimidate me

Yes
As a booknerd, as you put it, I will read anything. No matter how long…
I like around 300 pages. Shorter is ok if it’s very good. Longer is ok if very good but 330 is the sweet spot.
I’ve always thought Stephen king books give us more book for our money. He could make many of his books into trilogies and make even more money.

400 and more

Just depends…
It’s all about the story for me ?
Yes
