Lani Salem is an ‘author’ that comes to mind. She bought her books in bulk because she thought that buying them in bulk would have gotten her enough attention for her book to become a movie. So many of my favourite booktubers spoke about this issue.
Do you mean, when you’re reading it, it feels like it’s a movie unfolding before your eyes, but that the book would need to succeed to be made into a movie?
