I am not a big fan of professional football, but I felt compelled to watch this Super Bowl. Memphis had the star kicker for both teams and Justin Timberlake at halftime (which I did not watch). It was a great game!
Just read….. I actually have cancelled my TV. I only watch my DVD’s now or I have DVD’s that look like fireplaces, Forest scenery, waterfalls and oceans with music playing in the background. I love it.
I laid on my couch, either sleeping or watching a “Star Trek: Next Generation” marathon all day…nursed a sore throat most of the day, no fever… I can’t sleep now, so I’ve been reading. I just finished “The Giver Quartet” by Lois Lowry…
No TV in duplex apartment. Read a chapter from D.L.Hughly’s “Black Man….White House” and started a cozy mystery “Meow if it’s Murder” by T. C. Lo Tempio of the Nick and Nora Charles series, where Nick is an intuitive cat.
I have a TV but cancelled all my services….. Still have internet just no tv. It was getting out of hand payment wise and I only would watch maybe 5 minutes of wether a day, don’t really like anything show wise on. So I realized I was wasting my money. I’d rather read or watch a movie I have of my own anyway….
I agree. My friend Michael and I go out to a movie once or twice a month. The theatre here is bringing back the old movies once a month…..we went to see Casablanca on the movie screen…..what a thrill.
I must say, I watched the second quarter (most of it), and halftime. Then SNAP! off it went!
