I liked it but that being said, I started it a couple times and found I was just wasn’t into it so I set it aside and revisited at a later date. Sometimes books that don’t resonate the first attempt ends up being some of my favorite.
I wasn’t a fan. I thought the story was ok but for me it didn’t make up for the poor writing. I thought it was very flat and boring and struggled to finish it.
I didn’t particularly enjoy it. There’s a bit closer to the end where it picks up and I was thinking it would all be worth it. And then … blpfhfhrhrh again.
If you love her writing it’s maybe worth it? But it wasn’t worth the hype by any stretch. Imo
