Heartless by Marissa Meyer
That’s what I was about to recommend!! <3
same here lol
Yep
@Kylie I love this book! I might have to reread it lol
I was about to recommended this too. Totally stomped on my heart, but so good!
The Queen of the Tearling series will do that, not in an “aww that hurt” way though- it’s not fun.
@Hannah the ending ruined the whole series for me ?
SAME. I almost threw the book across the room.
@Stacey I was like ALL THAT
I will never read anything by that author ever again the ending was awful.
@Danielle I was just so disappointed because I thoroughly enjoyed 1-2
@Hannah theybwere both great it was rumored that Emma Watson was going to star in a movie adaptation but he 3rd book was just crap so that never went anywhere.
I loved the first 2 books so much and it was such a blatant cop out that she couldn’t think of a better way to resolve everything. I was ready to buy the series but I don’t want to reread it now
@Hannah is it worth to start if the ending is not great?
@Zaidelirys Ugh, tough call. I have a lot of unresolved feelings about it. The writing was great but the ending was very disappointing. It wasn’t a cliff hanger but the “closure” was not satisfying.
@Stacey ^ would you recommend picking it up?
I cried in this – it took me a bit to get into it, but in the end I loved it. It’s historical romance – time travel.
@Megan thank you!
defy the stars
@Emily added to my list!
@Zaidelirys im envious you get to read it for the first time
Me Before You
@Brianna omg yes! This book definitely made me cry!

Anything by Jay Kristoff or him and Amie Kaufman
God Shaped Hole by Tiffanie DeBartolo. She tells you exactly how the book will end at the beginning and you still end up ugly crying once you reach it.
@Jasmine this sounds really interesting! Thank you

I hope you like it!
Michelle Heard’s Enemies to Lovers Series, followed by her False Perceptions!!! She’s destroyed me several times now!
@Sherrie thank you! Sounds like what I need lol
@Zaidelirys I second this!!!!
@Zaidelirys Sherrie recommended me these books and I messaged her I hated her while crying and surrounded by tissues
@Elizabeth oh my lol maybe she’ll get a message from me as well
@Zaidelirys / @Elizabeth…totally worth it ?
@Zaidelirys I wouldn’t doubt it… I was coming to comment for you to read the same books but saw Sherrie mentioned it first!
@Sherrie hell yeah it’s definitely worth it!!! I was a mess that week I read everyone of Michelle’s books in a week… Can’t wait to get started on her new release right now

It’s not YA or Fantasy though….
@Laura I just read the synopsis, was it odd to read about?
@Zaidelirys honestly no. I read this book years ago and it still hurts to think about it.
@Laura thank you! I just added it to my list
@Zaidelirys, the story is so much deeper than the synopsis. Like you hurt for them. My heart ached.

Read The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
❤️??♥️
@Jaclyn Dude! The second book’s cliffhanger and having to wait a year for the 3rd book! Plus all of the emotion under everything…
Read the whole Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard ❤️❤️❤️
@Jordan I started it but haven’t finished it yet! Thank you
@JoLeen @Cozy if you’re into it.
@Jaclyn Thanks.
This is the only book in 30 years that I can say honestly broke me.
OMG I love this book series
@Paula book one rocked me so hard I was unable to read the rest of the series. I’ve been pregnant at the time with my oldest son. And I spent the rest of my pregnancy panicking over things like owning wood stoves and contingency plans. It’s phonominally written! It was just a little bit too close to reality to handle with the pregnancy crazies.
@Megan this is such an underrated book. I stopped my aunt from reading it because she is crying to hard.
mistborn ☹️☹️
mistborn ☹️☹️
They Both Die at the End
Not fantasy but A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tilly Cole. (I think that’s how you spell her name)

@Monica I don’t think so no
Mo Dao Zu Shi & Fushigi Yugi both do that.
A cage of stars. I cried so hard!
Not fantasy but … “ I’m not her” it’s so good and have tissues ready
The Chemical Garden Trilogy ???
Throne of glass series by Sarah J Maas does this to perfection
@Hayley agreed lol I’ve read all of them several times over

It ends with us by coleen hoover (after reading the story read the author’s note)
The Female of The Species and Sadie

19 Minutes & plain truth by that author are great too

Joni Underway by Kelly Oram. And I second A Thousand Boy Kisses And also suggest her other one called A Wish for Us

Have you heard of adam silvera? He was born for this sole purpose.
Rameen Jawad I honestly thought I’d cry more while reading “They Both Die At The End.” 😡 Maybe it’s the thought of knowing that, yannoe, they both die at the end which prepared me for it. LOL
