To be honest i enjoyed it but its too long for its plot. 500+ pages for romcom with that kind of ending. But then again, that’s just me.

Read all 3. I laughed out loud (especially some of the foot notes) and also learned a few things about the insanely rich. Looking forward to the movie. Easy and mindless like many mentioned.

Yay! LOVED it. I think being Chinese, though, made it a lot funnier to me than probably the average reader.

Currently about 3/4 of the way through. Having spent a summer in Singapore I am enjoying it for the depiction of the area, but I also like it as a satirical piece.

I wasn’t able to finish it. I didn’t care about the characters or what happened to them. I think it’s going to be a movie soon so clearly a lot people do enjoy it.

Interesting. Learned a lot about a culture I never knew existed, but too much like a Danielle Steele book for me to say I loved it. Finished it for my book group. We only read it because we saw the movie trailer and it looked funny. I’ll give it 3 stars.
