The Jungle

People from Chicago and the surrounding MidWest know that the Chicago stock yards (the subject of The Jungle) no longer are in operation today to the extent they were in.the past on the SouthSide of Chicago.

There is only a very small scale, kosher slaughter business in operation today with 1-2 workers preparing the meat.
