First book is fantastic, read half of the second and quickly found out that it wasn’t meant for my demographic ?

The obsession with Jondular’s penis was a real turn off for me. Also, Ayla apparently invented everything ever. Not a fan.

I worked in a bookshop when the first novel came out. Customers referred to it as “The Sex Manual”.

I liked the whole series. But, after the first one, each successive one is a lot of recapping the previous ones. I do mean A LOT of recapping.

I liked all of the first books but that one (can’t remember the name ) was horrible. Very boring.

The first two are AMAZING, three is good…. And they go downhill from there. I never even finished 5, got halfway through and quit.

I enjoyed them, but that movie was the worst. I actually read the first one while taking an anthropology course in college. It was not part of the course, but it dovetailed nicely with what I was studying.
