You should read it immediately because it is without a doubt one of the most beautiful books I’ve read, it’s enchanting and builds a beautiful world, and it leaves you wanting more. There are plot twists, shocks, and then the second book also has all those aspects, the story develops into something amazing! Also you should read it because the 3rd and finale book is out on the 9th so you have a couple weeks to read it and the second book to be ready for the release!!!

Caraval was ok because the lead was boring. But do read it because the 2nd book Legenderay is the literally the best release last year!

Meagan Mercer like what? I haven’t read it, just interested what shld be read instead!

Meagan

Katie Carr for underrated books I would suggest the Snow Like Ashes trilogy, The Kiss of Deception trilogy, even the Knife of Never Letting Go most people would say is for younger teenagers but it kept me on my toes, had in depth characters and does actually have some mature topics. As for highly popular reads I would suggest Cassandra Clare’s Shadowhunter series, Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses and Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse!

Caraval was a great read, I hear Legendary is even better (it’s sitting here staring at me ??), and I’m going with Finale will be just as good (when it releases in a week and a half). Do it.

Caraval was really good! Legendary blew my mind and I’ve preordered Finale. I love this trilogy.

I had a great time reading it up until the last few chapters then it became a bit of a mess. I’m waiting for Finale to come out to read book 2.

I will agree that Legendary was better, but i will suggest trying it on audiobook, the narrator is fantastic and does a wonderful job pulling you into the story and selling the magic and acting as the different characters.

I like a book with more highs and lows. I think I didn’t like it because there weren’t enough highs for me. The book was magical, yet not enough fun for me. I think it was good, but just not what I wanted or was expecting.

No – I actually liked the book until the last 50 pages. I was seriously annoyed by the end.

It was alright, but not overly memorable. I read it 3 months before the second book came out, and when I went to read the second one I couldn’t remember anything from the first one so I didn’t ? not really re-read worthy either

I personally found it quite slow and lacked the wow factor it was hyped up to be. Haven’t read the others in the series as I was so disappointed in the first!

Others will love it.. All personal preference 🙂

I really enjoyed it. It took a little bit to get into but picked up pace about a third in for me. The rest of the book i really enjoyed and Legendary was great. Just my opinion but they were a little different than the typical YA tropes so popular right now (not that those are bad).

Hands down you should read it! Second one is out now. Third one will be coming out beginning of May. I’m tempted to go buy all three and read them in one swoop. (Re-read the first one too)
