The Tidal Kiss Trilogy by Kristy Nicolle. Whole series about mermaids. Kind of long, but I really enjoyed them. 🙂

It’s not a mermaid book, but is close. I’m reading Daughters of the Lake right now. It’s very interesting, several stories entwined in the main one. Water spirits, dreams, and a sweet love story ( don’t want to give away too much).

I second The Surface Breaks, apart from the beautiful cover, it is a very interesting retelling. But don’t expect a cute book, this one is not exactly an enjoyable read, but it touches a lot of important topics.
