Nimona, paper girls, wires and nerve (it’s best if you’ve read the lunar chronicles first, since they take place afterwards and will contain spoilers), runaways:pride and joy
MAUS by Art Spiegelman. It is a World War II true story based on what happened to Art’s grandfather, a Jew, during the war. It is really unique in the way that it shows both Art visiting his grandfather in later life to try and get all the information out of him. As well as the events of the war that he went through. I also really enjoyed that he used different animals to depict the different cultures of the people. For example the Jews are mice. It makes it easy to follow when meeting new characters and race and religion was such a prominent thing in the war. It’s an amazing graphic novel but extremely heartbreaking!
I really love Nimona by Noelle Stevenson! <3
Oh I will have a look at that x
I was gonna recommend Nimona as well! I also loved In Real Life by Cory Doctorow
Oh I have not heard of that one will look into it x
