It’s when you receive a book in the mail. Could be one you ordered or one you won.

@Barbara where do I order ?

1
Jen

@Jenn You don’t. It’s just general mail. Like, someone sent you a book. We call it book mail.

Barbara

@Jenn any online bookstore, Amazon or an indie bookstore.

Also if you go to Goodreads and enter the giveaway you can win books. There are also giveaways on Facebook. When you win you get the book in the mail. Never hurts to enter!

I usually post bookmail as books I’ve won but many people also include books they’ve ordered! Either way- it’s fun to share! I love bookmail!

Any books that come in the mail – whether you ordered them yourself, won them in a contest, or a publisher just decides to send you a book out of the blue.

Bookmail is when you get a book in the mail. It can be an advanced readers copy from the publisher or author. It can be a win from Goodreads or a swap you might be a part of. Some people even include orders of books from Amazon, Book outlet and other bookish places as well as books from others. All are books that arrive in the mail.
