I love the Pern Series by Anne McCaffrey (Dragonriders of Pern…). There are a bunch of books in the series; I re-read them every couple of years.

Donna Grant has a series about dragons. She wrote a few series in the same world, starting with the dark sword series. But the dragon one is called the Dark Kings. They’re Scottish with the accent and all. I can’t sing Ms. Donna Grant’s praises enough!

I have a series I write under Elayne Shore called Sammy the Sea Serpent. Sammys father is a fire breathing dragon and Sammys mother is a sea serpent. That makes Sammy half sea serpent and half dragon. The series is available online.
