I personally like reading it better than listening to it. I can’t hear too well while flying from the engines and such.

I prefer an audio book, because I get motion sickness when I read on anything moving. If you get really nice ear buds, you can’t hear anything else and then you get to close your eyes.

I’d rather listen, as it keeps me from listening to everything around me.

Read a book!

Listening because then you don’t have to worry about holding the book up or bumping elbows or turning on a light. With an audiobook you can just sit back and relax. Nose cancelling headphones + audible = great flight

One down-side of listening (while I LOVE audio-books) is that I tend to fall asleep in THAT kind of situation. Then I don’t really hear the book & have o go back to listen again. ROAD TRIPS, where it’s important to stay alert however, are tailor-made for audio-books.

I prefer reading when I’ve got nothing else to focus on. I like audiobooks when I’m driving, though. I usually use my headphones to play some soothing background music to drown out the people around me.

Reading for me because if I’m listening I can’t concentrate as well.

Audiobook in any kind of moving vehicle with people around, just cancels most distractions and makes time go by faster.

I take both and then decide in the moment. I always fall asleep
Listening to audiobooks on a flight. Then I have to figure out where I left off.

I’m not a fan of audiobooks. I was just on a plane yesterday and read a book lol

Book. Don’t have to worry about battery dying, although many planes do come equipped with outlets nowadays.

I don’t fly much, but I would prefer to read a physical book. However, I would have an audiobook as a back up in case if I had too many loud neighboring passengers!

Personally I bring a book or my Kindle to read and listen to music to ignore people around me. But, I am not a fan of audiobooks.

I would say both. Read until your eyes get tired and then listen. From where you stopped reading. It’s easier to stop at the end of a chapter so you know where to pick back up at.

Bit of both

Depends what you like. But I have to have something in my hands so I have to read.
