I wrote a YA Urban fantasy about a girl getting rescued by a merman who’s trapped in the pool. Lots of adventure, and the big mystery of why he’s being held captive in a pool.

Are you 14 years old?
No, but I have never met a person who is the same years old like me and loves reading! 😀
I’m 14 and love reading ?
Hi, Jenna! ??
The Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer are very good, and hold up okay for older audiences, too! I just reread them a few months ago.
I loved the Hush Hush Saga and The Mortal Instruments and the Unearthly Series at that age but my taste might be different. All of mine have like angels and a little romance tied in them but if you like suspense and supernatural/paranormal stuff you’d loves these series. Also the Percy Jackson series was good and the Divergent series. And of course The Hunger Games. I also enjoyed the Selection Series. That’s more romance but it has mystery and action and suspense incorporated through out. Also of course Harry Potter is my ultimate favorite.
Haha I was in that fallen Angel genre phase too at that age.
Lol it’s a common phase for that age
Lol yeah that was all I would read. Did you ever read the Violet Eden Chapters? First book is Embrace by Jessica Shrivington?
I do t think so. Then again it’s been years lol I’d have to read it again
I loved these books!!!
Have you read The Hatchet?

The Avalon Web of Magic series by Rachel Roberts is one I enjoyed at that age. Tiger’s Curse by Colleen Houck is another.
Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, the Lunar Chronicles, the Host, the Shadow Falls series by CC Hunter first book is Born at Midnight n
The adventures of Huckleberry Finn .it is amazing especially that the hero in the novel is about that age of 14
The Unwanted’s Series It’s like Harry Potter meets the Hunger Games…great books

The lord of the flies
anything by Rick Riordin. He writes the “Percy Jackson & the Olympians” series and the “Kane Chronicles” and several other series. Action, adventure, mystery, learning about mythology, Egyptology etc all in a series.
How about the VC Andrews Series, that’s what I was reading at 14. Haha I’m kidding. But seriously, I did read that stuff as a kid, probably explains a lot now that I think about it.
The Adventures of Tintin have everything you are looking for and also a good book. Trust me you won’t regret.

Depends on the 14 year old… I suppose… I know I’ve been reading the Prydain chronicles ever since I was like 6-8 and they’re one of my favorites for all around “everything” stories… Sword fights, good, evil, romance, royalty, peasants, little bit of mystery, a good dose of magic… Just about everything critical for a good old fashioned faerie tale 😉
