@Alli who’s the author?
Oh that would be helpful, ha. Craig Thompson!
Book 1 of The Walking Dead? It has the first 12 volumes in there. That’s what I’m attempting
I think Anne Frank’s diary has.
V for Vendetta, Watchmen
If manga counts, Kimetsu no Yaiba is a very very good story
My Friend Dahmer
The Harlem Hellfighters
V for Vendetta
Hey, Kiddo by Jarrett J. Krosoczka
It is a memoir on how he lost his mother, found his father, and dealt with family addiction. It is about 300 pages.
Would Persepolis count?
Maus 1 and 2
Nimona by Noelle Stevenson! A fantasy story about a villain and his spunky shape-shifting sidekick. It’s hilarious and devastating and I can’t recommend it enough
Fun Home by Alison Bechdal, it’s like 240 pages and I would highly recommend it.
Be prepared to be angry and/or crying at parts, though.
On a Sunbeam by Tillie Walden. It’s a beautiful space adventure with love, loss, strong women, and gorgeous images.
I don’t remember the page count of the individual ones, but the Sandman Series by Neil Gaiman
Read it on Kindle, so I’m not sure how long it is, but I really liked Bingo Love!
American born chinese, Persepolis, Maus, 3 personas
Blankets, The Sculptor, Seconds
Locke and Key by Joe Hill. I’ve only read the first so far (Welcome to Lovecraft) but the story and the artwork were great. (My first try at Graphic novels- I’ll read more!)
Alex and Ada by Jonathan Luna/Sarah Vaughn, Death Vigil by Stjepan Sejic, Saga by Brian Vaughn, The Manhattan Projects by Jonathan Hickman, Wytches by Scott Snyder, The Flintstones, Sweet Tooth by Jeff Lemire are just a few of my faves!
