I really loved Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. It’s a duology. The second one is Shadow Scale. And there is another indirect sequel called Tess of the Road. I thought all 3 books were great.

The Casquette Girls series by Alys Arden or Sawkill Girls by Claire Legrand! TCG is my absolute favorite series and Sawkill Girls is my favorite book this year ?
