The First Men in the Moon is superb, but his short stories are marvelous too.

I think the island of Dr Moreau is such an amazing feat considering it was written in the 1890’s. It so fitting today when scientists are messing around with dna and genes and such.

They did! Twice! In 1970’s and 90’s. Just don’t watch the latter one. It’s a steaming pile of poo.
