Can anyone recommend books on families and spouses etc. dealing with alcoholics? Not necessarily memoirs, just fiction about alcoholism.

Does Infinite Jest count? It’s very much about a family, and a separate thread that’s very much about alcoholism.

A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. It’s about his coming to terms with addiction and rehabilitation. It’s a memoir/fiction because he did embellish some details.

Read a book called Ellen Foster once. Can’t remember the author. But it was a pretty good read.

Kaye Gibbons. It was also a pretty good Hallmark movie in the 90s.
