Anytime, sorry the only historical books featuring medical women I know are CotCB and Outlander. Phillipa Gregory does do an amazing historical fiction though!

I’ve been in love with Jamie Fraser longer than I’ve been in love with my husband ????

@Paula I love Jamie. Though due to my own inability to create accents, I had a really tough time reading his in the beginning ?
He kept sounding like a country bumpkin in my head, which was destroying all attractions I had ??

@Stephanie the TV series will be helping??!! Although it’s not as good as the books. As I live just south of the Scottish border and regularly holiday in Scotland I could always hear his voice perfectly x

@Paula I actually watched video clips of the actor for Jamie speaking, so I could place certain spellings, with certain sounds! It helped a lot!

@Stephanie I still have problems work the Gaelic!! It’s a small price to pay for such a wonderful
Story.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/86643.Mistress_of_the_Art_of_Death. Not your typical medicine woman, early medieval pathologist/doctor. Excellent historical mystery series
