Can I just say that when I was in elementary school, I read a great series (trilogy??) about a girl and a witch. I wish I could figure out what that was. Would’ve been late 70’s or early 80’s.

The Secret History of Witches is great, it’s about one Family and the power being passed down from Mother to Daughter, and what they each sacrifice in order to get there power.
Also Nora Roberts wrote a trilogy called The Dark Witch.
And I just picked up the A Discovery of Witches, the first in the trilogy.
