LJ Smith’s Night World series. Each story has different elements like vampires, werewolves, etc, and they’re each couples. The stories are interwoven as well. I really enjoyed the series.

Also, the Princess at the Midnight Ball series by Jessica Day George is a retelling of the twelve dancing princesses with romance, and the My Fair Godmother series by Janette Rallison is also retellings with romance.
I’m reading book 3 in my fair godmother now. Really enjoyed it so far
I really loved the Age of Legends series by Kelly Armstrong, The mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, the Lumatere Chronicles by Melina Marchetta, and the Elemental Trilogy by Sherry Thomas!
I have this in my tbr… But I didn’t have any drive to pick it up. Maybe I should try it next
@Laron maybe it’s just my taste but I liked it a lot better than some of the huge best selling series

@Laron I’m not sure how glittery it is. Maybe a little glitter here and there. The rest is oppression, slavery, war and political double-crosses.
I loved the Red Winter trilogy by Annette Marie.
