You can only sync if the one you were reading on was connected to wifi
@Jean both are or were connected to wifi
@Susan Go to your Amazon account. Top right – Account and lists, then manage content and devices, select the book and send it to the device you want. x

@Andi I haven’t. I did remember which chapter I had reached and had to use the go to option.
@Susan, have you sync’d the new device?
If so, search for the title in the search box and then download.. If that’s not working, I can nip round tomorrow to have a look. I will be going out so I can do it on the way out or home x
@Andi I thought I had it synced along with kindle app on iPad but alas no. I have done it the “old fashioned” way ?

There is a sync option under more (app) or settings on your kindle.
Sorry don’t know hope you get it sorted x
Just download and open the book on your new kindle then press sync. You don’t need to be messing around with your actual amazon account
@Keith I’ve tried that but it only syncs to prologue on the new kindle. Remembered which chapter I had read up to and caught up that way. Finished the book now.
