Very enjoyable, I have read four or five of the books so far. And will eventually read to the end of the series.

@Chris that’s a relief. I’m hearing a lot of negative feed back on the last book. As it’s my next read I was getting nervous that no one liked it!

Thought the first one was excellent but they got worse and worse as it went on.
First was great, 2nd was good
It was downhill from there
Should have been a trilogy
Haven’t even bothered to read the 5th as the 4th was that bad
I thought it was outstanding
I’ve been reading since December and am just starting the 5th book. Loving it so far, but I’m hearing a lot of mixed reviews about #5
Happy to hear all the good things. Haven’t read it yet but I was lucky enough to score a signed copy and meet Mr Brett himself at Comic Con a few months ago.
It was good, but it did Peter out a little IMO

Started out really good but deteriorated with every successive book. Took a lot out of me just to finish the series.
I loved the series. The middle of the series drags some but overall I loved it
I’ve done the whole series, it’s not bad, slow in places but, is quite enjoyable it’s worth it in my opinion, but that’s just me ??
I find that alot of series r like that… i read the first 2 books in the old kingdoms series by garth nix and while sabriel had alot of action book 2 liriel was a bit slow
@Allison yeah, I know what you mean, the painted man series is good, but could of been maybe 2 books shorter. That being said it did give alot of back ground and in depth about everything. But still I’m glad I listened to the whole series. ?

The warded man was an incredible book. It’s unique, entertaining and exciting. A real page turner. The others are complete and utter poo.

The last book takes a really dark turn. I enjoyed the series over all.
Well i wouldnt expect it any other way. Im thinking ill have the whole series read this yr

I have yet to pick up the first 2 novellas and the 2nd book i bought…. read the 1st last month n still remember everything so those r a keeper
I liked this series enough to seriously consider naming my first born son Arlen lol
