Chelsea Cain – Archie and Gretchen series – absolutely amazing and very different from the normal serial killers.
Sweetpea series by C J Skuse. Female serial killer is the protagonist very sweary, very very funny.

Fiction or real? I’m big fan of true crime books but I also like the hannibal lecter series. Ann rule has some good ones but if you want to know about Ted Bundy then I would recommend “the Bundy murders by Kevin Sullivan”.
