Sorry to not totally understand but, do you mean – labels on the inside with your name/ or a design on them ? or a cover that goes over your book so it is not ruined/ whatever?

Truthfully I didn’t know what they were either until I found an antique one in French… So I will say yes because they can be beautiful

It is a smaller piece of paper that you stick in the front of the book to show it belongs to you. Traditionally it would show your name, motto, family crest and such things.

Because once a book enters my collection, it rarely ever leaves it again, I would have no problems using book plates… However, I have WAY too many books for that. I just use a sharpie and my signature.

@Shawntay I’ve never used an embosser. Do you emboss directly on the page or do you emboss a sticker and adhere the sticker to the page?

I emboss straight on the page

I found some bookplates I liked at Joseph Beth yesterday, but there were only 24 in a pack/box……….for like $20 a box…………..I would need 30 boxes to just do the books in my bedroom alone…….
